This piece of apparel created great controversy when it was printed, especially at the now defunct NWN forum. Not few supposed Black Metal proselytes showed deep concern and were very vocal about their dislike of wearing a t-shirt depicting the band naked.

We always considered this picture which was used to illustrate the sleeve of their “As Tears Stain the Altar of Christ” 7” EP on Osmose Productions , one of the definite Black Metal photo sessions ever and a statement on its own of what this musical genre as a cult represents and stands for.

These nonsense prejudices made this being the worst selling piece of merchandise ever released by DWTMH. In fact it was the only of our releases not to sell out. We recently unearthed a box with the remaing shirts and are offering here for sale.
